What is The Descendants?
The Descendants is a web serial set in the not too distant future of the second half of the twenty-first century and presented as if it were a comic book, complete with issues, annuals, specials and many four color concepts given a modern twist.

The Story
Scientific experimentation in the twentieth century caused later generations to give birth to a new breed of human gifted with the genetic potential for superhuman feats, both mental and physical. In the United States, the Psionics Training and Application Academy was founded to train the most powerful of these psionics and the Enforcer Corps was created to stop those who used their powers for ill purposes.

But the Academy had a more clandestine agenda, one that has recently been discovered by three of its former students. Their desperate crusade to save the children exploited to the Academy’s dark ends leads them to the city of Mayfield, where they face not only the threat from the Academy, but from a powerful crime lord, an ancient witch, and all manner of villain in between.

07/18/08 -- Part IV of The Whitecoat: Networked is now online and the viallain behind the rage chips is revealed!

07/13/08 -- Little Girl Lost concludes with Chapter 4. Look out for some suprises in store at the end! I don't know what story will be ready next between the two minis and Issue #30, so be ready for a suprise there too.

07/10/08 -- Little Girl Lost continues with Chapter 3. With luck, it will wrap up this weekend. Work continues on Whitecoat: Networked and Liedecker: Life and Times. Also, heads up, but I think I feel another Descendants: Rewind coming on, plus more blog posts. Oh! and redoing the cast page here. And in case you were wodnering, yes, I know what Issue #30 will be about, but I don't have a name for it, and I'm keeping the plot a secret. A fun secret. What's with this sudden burst of energy? I have beheld The Incredible Hulk, Hancock, the preview for Furutrama: Bender's Game and the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya all in the space of a week and I am ready to ROCK. HARD.

07/06/08 -- Issue #29 continues with Chapter 2. Chapter 3 coming very soon. I took some time to tweak the site so it's friendlier to people with higher resolution monitors. I'm also prewritting for the Liedecker mini: Life and Times.

06/28/08 -- No Descendants update until the end of the month. Sorry, but I've got three birthdays lined up all in the space of a week, plus work. Double updates next week. Until then, please take a look at this Sneak Preview of another project I'm toying with: Imago. (The link will take you to the forum. Do not be alarmed.

06/23/08 -- Descendants Issue #29: Little Girl Lost begins with Chapter 1. I'd say some interesting stuff, but anything I say is giving something away. Keep your eyes peeled!

06/19/08 -- Part III of The Whitecoat: Networked is up now! Issue #29 will be coming swiftly after, possibly tomorrow during the day, hand to god.
