What is The Descendants?
The Descendants is a web serial set in the not too distant future of the second half of the twenty-first century and presented as if it were a comic book, complete with issues, annuals, specials and many four color concepts given a modern twist.

The Story
Scientific experimentation in the twentieth century caused later generations to give birth to a new breed of human gifted with the genetic potential for superhuman feats, both mental and physical. In the United States, the Psionics Training and Application Academy was founded to train the most powerful of these psionics and the Enforcer Corps was created to stop those who used their powers for ill purposes.

But the Academy had a more clandestine agenda, one that has recently been discovered by three of its former students. Their desperate crusade to save the children exploited to the Academy’s dark ends leads them to the city of Mayfield, where they face not only the threat from the Academy, but from a powerful crime lord, an ancient witch, and all manner of villain in between.

10/04/08 -- Descendants #32: Ahead/Behind has arrived with Chapter 1. It took some time to come up with how to approach this one and I hope you like it. The chapters will be shorter as opposed to the behemoth 4 Saga. And don't think I haven't noticed that we're about due for a new Special and maybe the start of another mini.

09/26/08 -- It Came From a Warped Star concludes with Chapter 5! Issue #32 is TAB right now. I will let you know as soon as I decide as I know that Year 3 will end with Descendants: Back to School. Pop on over to the forums to tell me what you think, what you'd like to see and everything in between. :)

09/21/08 -- ICFaWS Chapter 4 is now up! The truth about the 4 is revealed and we go to the confrontation with Warpstar!

09/14/08 -- ICFaWS Chapter 3 is now online. This week is kind of a special week, so it's unlikely anytihng extra will be out this week... maybe.

09/07/08 -- 4; It Came From a Warped Star Chapter 2 is now online. Sorry for the lateness. There's not much to do today besides play Dwarf Fotress, so there might be bloggage.

08/31/08 -- 4 Part 2 AKA It Came From a Warped Star is now here with Chapter 1! If you've followed the sparsely updated blog, you know what this means. Also, in response to an email, yes, Daughters, Mothers, Sisters, Lovers IS going to happen. The stories there are too important to the mythology to ignore like the other ideas I've bandied aobut and in fact, it will be updated more often than the previosu minis were. Oh, and the Whitecoat mini has been corrected.
